Autofilling forms

The Autofill feature allows you to automatically fill website forms with your personal information, such as your name, email address, and phone number. Autofill is enabled in the Yandex app by default.

Save autofill data

The first time you enter information (such as an address or phone number) in a form, the app stores it. The next time you enter it, a list appears under the SmartBox and you can choose a saved autofill option.

Set autofill data manually

The app can save your bank card data, passwords, phone number, address, email, and other things.

Add personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  5. In the lower-right corner, tap .
  6. Fill in the form fields.
  7. In the upper-right corner, tap .
Edit personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  5. Select the required Autofill option.
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap  → Edit.
  7. Enter changes.
  8. In the upper-right corner, tap .
Delete personal data
  1. Open any tab.
  2. Tap to the right of the SmartBox.
  3. Select My data → Personal data.
  4. If necessary, enter your master password to access the storage.
  5. Select the required Autofill option.
  6. In the upper-right corner, tap  → Delete.
  7. Confirm deletion.

Syncing

By default, your autofill data syncs. To disable syncing for this data only:

  1. On the home screen, tap  (profile picture) → App settings.

  2. Tap Syncing.
  3. Deselect Forms.

Turn autofill off

  1. On the home screen, tap  (profile picture) → App settings.

  2. Disable Autofill forms.
