Didn't get to watch Bunny Girl Senpai yet, as ever since Monogatari (which many people seem to compare Bunny Girl Senpai with) I kind of avoid this "kind" of series, because it just doesn't really appeal to me. But the protagonist for Bunny Girl Senpai seems to be better than Ararararararagi (, who I personally find quite boring and is the reason I don't feel like continueing Monogatari), from what I hear, so that might make me watch it, if he can carry that series together with the other characters.
I dropped Monogatari long back as well. In fact I also hate the slice of life genre so me liking Bunny girl is really something. The banter in the anime is great and yes the protagonist is awesome but the other characters are also pretty good.
I highly recommend you give it a try even if it's not your "kind" of series.

But frankly the comparison between the two series for "Fall 2018" might not be a good idea, because Bunny Girl Senpai is one-cour and Slime is two-cour and even an adaptation whose first cour ending will be halfway into an ongoing arc, so it will probably lack the "climatic finale" that the one-cour series will have, making it a rather unfair comparison.
I completely agree with this which is why I feel slime will most likely be my favourite in the end. The pacing is a bit slower in slime and I expect the 2nd cour to be even juicier whereas Bunny girl has already had a few arcs done and is faster paced.

With SAO, I was in the same boat as you until recently, as I put it on hold somewhere near the end of the Death Gun/GGO arc and didn't even bother watching the GGO spin-off (and probably never will), but I finished watching SAO II all the way to the end recently (it's quite good actually, as it makes Asuna the protagonist in the last arc and turns Kirito into a supporting cast for some time) and also watched the movie "Ordinal Scale", which is supposedly also neccesary to watch for some things in Alicization to make sense, or so I head. But I have yet to watch even a single episode of Alicisation.
Thanks for the in depth explanation. When I'm in the mood I'll continue and binge the 2nd season. I totally forgot about the movie, I heard it was quite good so I'll definitely watch that as well.
It's best to keep your expectations low for Index, fights are okay.
Goblin Slayer has stayed the same, if you liked it so far it's fine. Just don't expect any change or else you'd be disappointed.
I dropped Tokyo Ghoul during Re because the anime adaptation is terrible and I've read the manga. The first manga of Tokyo Ghoul is amazing (anime butchered it) but sadly the sequel manga is terrible.

It's not the only factor but one of many. I prefer observing the
MSP for currently airing shows. It's a really neat club so check it out if you haven't already.
I haven't watched any of the previous Jojo seasons. Haha this is the first time I'm even hearing about that show so yes I suppose you're right.
