I've really never wanted to watch this, these too-popular-hyped-up series make me itch in the wrong way. Then I just couldn't help but watch it when one of the channels here started airing it...and frankly I don't remember how far I've got. Somewhere in the second season, maybe, or the end of it, with one or two episodes missing here and there, but that's it. With all the reruns and the whole series getting longer than the Earth's equator, and with all the hints I got from friends and the net about what's gonna happen...I'm not sure I even wanna continue watching this. Some of the characters are good to slash and mess with, but that's about it all for me, really.

I know, I've seen a pic of Daisuke somewhere and I was like "I have to see this!"...then for some reason it just got dropped. I'll prolly pick it up somewhere again, that's why I put it "On-Hold", though it's not a priority as of now.

Very nice, with a bit more drama than what the story (or me?) could handle, a few being just pointless even...and some interesting action-line to it.
I guess, while Ritsuka is cute and Soubi is intriguing, the fact that it's way too endless does less justice to the series than what it'd deserve. No idea about the manga, but the anime left way too many doors open, way too many questions unanswered, and that just totally ruins it...which is a shame, cuz what IS done is done fairly well, so just...why not finish it properly?

Okay, this one's...interesting. Starts slow and seeming not at all what it actually evolves into...I should definitely go back to this and watch it already - left it about 2 or 3 times now. I know, shame on me... @.@;

LOVE LOVE LOVE! Of course, this one ain't the whole thing either, it's like a trend in animes? Anyways. There's fun, there's drama, there's action, there's emotions, there's mindlessness, there's serious philosophy...about the only thing NOT in this anime is yaoi (which is a shame with so many bishies *_* but oh well). It's absolutely recommended...word of advice tho, try the original Japanese version instead of the castrated americanized one.

But really, Negi's character makes up for that, even with the storyline being somewhat crippled (guess that's quite a general issue with about every second anime, huh?)...

Ugh - that about sums it up. I mean, c'mon, Shuichi is cute but I could've smacked him in the head more times than not; Eiri is basically a jerk; Touma is cool; music's AWESOME; and WTH's up with so many events just being skipped/censored?! That latest bit is extremely annoying actually, left me clueless to guess things more times than it would've been appropriate for any series, really. Oh, and Shuichi's age is just ridiculous -_-" I totally freaked out when I got to know that. (I know it's more of an original-manga-issue, but still.)

I've been wanting this for so long!!! But all I ended up with were English-dubbed versions, um, call me snob, but I prefer my animes in Japanese, thanks. Friend of mine provided, so I can finally watch it. And loving it so far! Although...it's one of those series where you have to really LISTEN, not just watch.
Having finished it...have to say, it's highly rewatchable. Either to better understand those fine details, or to be able to jot down thoughts you might wanna blog about or discuss...choice is yours, but you'll definitely start it over again after a while.

I think it's okay - doesn't want to be more than it is: a simple yaoi flick with some hardcore scenes.

Masterpiece. Again. And just gotta love the last episode, like ep6 of Star Wars: when all the pieces of a brilliant 3D-puzzle fall into place. Quite overwhelming really, having to arrive to understand what everything's been about, even the details that made no sense earlier.
And just like the first series, this one's sure to make a few re-watch as well. Just too deep, to full - too complex. And that's the best damn characteristic of GitS.

Hehe, this was a fun one. Subtle (mostly), with nothing special to the story or the characters really, so that makes it a quite lightweight, easy-to-watch series. I kinda felt like there could've been more of this or more of that at a few scenes, but that's just me.

Uh-oh. About the most mindless set of...FILLERS, for real. It has no story, it has no...nothing, basically, and the characters? You won't find anyone that sortable (is that even a word?) into any category! Still, if you can overlook that (or not even see it because you're too busy ogling any of the bishies), it'll deliver a healthy portion of laughter. Only bad thing is how it's left off too, without any proper ending even, and just after like a few chapters when there's much more to it in the manga. On the contrary tho, I guess the anime is much more nicely drawn.

It's fine and rewatchable at a medium level, because the ~genre~ is so scarce. Other than that, it just gets way too surreal with the ways the characters behave, with the crossdressing, and all.

Foreword: MAJOR NOSEBLEED.
Was recommended by a friend of mine, and after the first episode, I found even the basic situation quite intriguing. And IT. GETS. BETTER. IN. EVERY. EPISODE. Seriously...BEAUTIFULLY drawn characters (bishies galore!) in an equally BEAUTIFULLY drawn world, and tho there are some idiotic remarks here and there, this series has so much more to it than that! Everyone has a personality, some even develop throughout the series; everyone has a past, and learning that you'll see their personalities justified...and there's mystery. Not everything is as it seems, there are many things that you can't be sure about until they're revealed... And every 20-min long episode has more intensity to it than any 2-hr long Hollywood blockbuster. Just BRILLIANT. And on a sidenote, even the music is very nice.

After having read something like "story-stopping idiotic comments, pointless posings, freakin' sick characters" in a magazine, and seeing Soul's half-stupid-half-asleep grin, I was like "IWANTTHIS!"...and damn I was right. They started airing it here just this week, and I still rather opted for the Japanese version...and having heard those stupid linguistic solutions in it, guess I was damn right again. Anyway. Go watch, you'll be rotfl for sure. Just don't try to use it to convert any non-otakus out there...it'll backfire since it's too absurd. xD

Okay, this is the title that got all my otaku friends go like "WHAT?! OMG, you're kidding right? You CAN'T want to watch THAT!"...but from some snippets and the first episode, I found it way less annoying than bleaches and deathnotes and such. Not of topmost priority, but I'm curious about it.
