Just a sketch I was working on this morning, practicing making more sci-fi ish cars instead of actual cars. I don't like the halfwheel things though, they're a bit too cumbersome. They're supposed to be like hover tech.

you could always do something like jet-booster-style hover, wel...hoverjets. It might look odd but i'm sure there are plenty of ways you could integrate that style into the body design by means of like smooth siding.
Just a thought, though. I end up drawing a lot of cars (poorly) and I always love seeing sci-fi stuff.
